Abbey Retail is a division of Abbey Machinery, Irelands leading manufacturer of agricultural machinery, a company which was founded in 1947 by the Cavanagh family.
Abbey Retail offers customers Abbey Machinery's complete product range along with being dealers for Massey Ferguson, Rauch, Malone, Quicke, Bredal, Rossmore, Prodig , McCauley trailers and APV along with many others. These brands are well known to farmers up and down the country and have helped to establish Abbey Retail as the leading dealership serving Co. Tipperary and surrounding areas.

Legacy Since 1947
Founded in 1947, Abbey Machinery has grown to become one of Ireland’s leading agricultural machinery manufacturers, while remaining proudly family owned for seven generations.

1947
Abbey Machinery is founded by the Cavanagh family in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, establishing what would become one of Ireland’s most respected agricultural machinery manufacturers.
2003
Abbey Retail Nenagh is established as a dedicated retail division, bringing machinery, parts and hardware together under one trusted dealership serving farmers and contractors across Tipperary.
2014
Abbey Retail expands its footprint to include Clerihan, strengthening its presence in South Tipperary and enhancing service access for customers.
2026 - Today
Abbey Retail continues to grow and evolve, expanding its product portfolio, strengthening brand partnerships and striving to deliver the highest standard of sales and after-sales support to customers across the region.
